Terms of Service

1. Who we are

CV Forge ("we", "the service") is an online resume, cover letter and job-application tool made and sold by Lumnika, Genova, Italy. Contact: deus@lumnika.com. By using the service you accept these terms.

2. The service

You paste your own text (notes, an existing resume, a job posting) and the service produces documents from it: PDF resumes, cover letters, negotiation and outreach emails, ATS match scores. A free trial and a Free plan are available with the limits shown on the pricing page. An account is identified by your email and an access key; keep your key private, anyone holding it can use your account.

3. Payments and digital delivery

Pro and Team are subscriptions (monthly, or yearly for Pro) billed in advance and renewed automatically until cancelled. Your first subscription starts with a 7-day free trial: the card is asked at checkout, nothing is charged during the trial, and the first payment is taken on day 7 unless you cancel before. The Job Hunt Pass (€18) is a one-time payment for 30 days of Pro features, with no renewal. The Complete Candidature Kit is a one-time payment for a fixed number of credits, with no renewal. Credits and features are delivered immediately after payment. Because the content is digital and delivered at once, by purchasing you ask us to start delivery immediately and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day withdrawal right for digital content ends once delivery starts; our voluntary refund policy below still applies. Prices shown are final and include VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as reseller (merchant of record); your card statement shows LUMNIKA.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time from the billing portal; you keep access until the end of the paid period and are not charged again. We refund on request, by writing to deus@lumnika.com from your account email:

• your first subscription payment, within 14 days;
• unused Candidature Kit credits, within 14 days of purchase;
• any payment for which the service did not deliver (failed generation, outage), at any time.

Refunds go back to the original payment method (USDC payments to the sending wallet). Per-call x402 payments are only settled when the analysis succeeds, so a failed call is never charged.

5. AI-generated content

Parts of the output are written by AI language models from the text you provide. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or generic. You are responsible for checking every document before sending it, and for making sure it describes you truthfully. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, salary outcomes or ATS results; match scores are estimates.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the text you submit and to the documents generated for you. You give us only the permission needed to process and store it to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. Do not submit other people's personal data without their permission.

7. Acceptable use

No automated abuse of the free trial or free endpoints, no attempts to access other accounts, no use of the service to create fraudulent credentials. API use on paid plans is allowed within the plan quota. We may suspend accounts that break these rules; paid time not used because of a suspension for abuse is not refunded.

8. Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We aim to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Material changes to paid plans apply from your next billing period.
